City to clear homeless camp near Cleveland High School
PORTLAND, Ore. — Over the summer, the city of Portland passed an ordinance that homeless camps would not be allowed within one hundred feet of a school.
Postings went up Thursday morning at a camp near SE 29th and Waverleigh, just across the street from Cleveland High School, that it would be cleared. But not because the camp broke the hundred-foot rule.
