Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler now seeks to relocate homeless campers to designated sites, not mass indoor shelters
Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler said Friday that he plans to create one or more massive outdoor tent sites for homeless people after his office’s earlier pitch for up to three 1,000-person homeless shelters drew an icy reception from state and local leaders.
Take action NOW. As summer is here the camps are once again growing with no end in sight. Tax payers have funded the solutions now it is up to our elected leaders to take action to improve the city. I see nothing different today than yesterday… I live here! actually I see more…… enforce daily removal of camps at anyplace other than designated sites. NOW.
